Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the amazing support the last couple of months.
You have kept us running with everything from a record breaking to business lunch drop offs, Weddings, private parties and now we’re heading into Graduation season.
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions since closing the restaurant on when and where to find the truck. We are in talks with a few potential spots for some weekday pop up lunches in which we will keep you posted on soon.
Please let us know when and where you would like to see us as we are looking into locations.

Tonight is the celebration of life of the great put together by . We were honored to display two of Wil’s works in our windows lighting up 11th Street in our time at the shop. Neon truly is a lost art and Wil’s passion to keep it alive and well was admirable. I will miss our conversations in the alley bridging and and the daily waves from the patio. We’ll keep the lights on for you Wil and think of you when we flip the switch. RIP friend

Treefort Menu Feature:
We first introduced the Chan Chan Torta at 2 in 2013. Our creative take on a Cuban inspired sandwich, it’s name derived from the first track on the timeless Buena Vista Social Club self titled record. In the early days of Calle we played this on repeat in the prep kitchen and inspired many of the recipes that became menu favorites. We’re excited to bring this one out of the vault and feature it on the truck this week.
Available with Pork Carnitas or Vegetarian, this sandwich is full of flavor with sautéed spinach, tomatillo pico, cilantro garlic aioli, avocado crema, chimichurri and cotija on an brioche bun.
Come grab one this week at the Food Truck at Main Stage Thursday through Sunday.

Big change is on the horizon for us this year. By now I’m sure most of you who follow us are aware we have been running extremely scaled back hours at the restaurant the last several months with our focus on our offsite catering and events. With our lease up for renewal, we have come to the decision not to renew and step away from our brick-and mortar spot on 11th Street. Our last day of lunch service there will be Friday March 13th.
What does this mean for the future of Calle 75? We are fully transitioning into what has always been our wheelhouse, catering and food truck events.
Often within longevity, reflection brings questions, what did we enjoy doing at the start? What made us great? What is our intention and ambition and where do we go from here?
Since 2008, this business was built on asphalt, in parking lots, Farmers markets, Concerts, Weddings, Private Events and Catering gigs. Street energy. That’s our DNA.
As we step into year 18, we’re in a new season of life – and we’re choosing freedom, flexibility and focus. Going all-in on catering and food truck events allows us to deliver the absolute best version of our food and hospitality without compromise. It lets us build experiences, not just transactions. And it gives our family the time that matters most.
We truly can’t thank this amazing community enough for all your continued support through the years.
To all our staff and family past and present of the Calle Crew, we are forever grateful as we couldn’t have done any of this without you.
To our Neighbors, 11th Street holds a special place in our hearts, and you all have been beyond supportive and kind and we are proud to call you friends.
To all the artists and creatives that have been a part of our journey here, we are incredibly thankful as your talents and vision made our space truly one-of-a-kind.
We are excited for this next chapter. Last year we said we were stepping back into our roots; it took some time to decipher what that meant to us and this is it in its truest form.

By no means are we surprised by any of the negative feedback stemming from our statement and choice to close for business today. This is a very important moment in this country and silence didn’t sit right with us so we chose to use our tiny platform for what we feel is positive action.
Like other businesses in our community who spoke out this week and received similar responses we kindly ask if you’ve ever been in our restaurant, had us cater your event or visited our food truck please share your positive experience on Google reviews.
Please go out and support all of our fellow businesses that remain open today and are doing their part by donating to pertinent organizations, these businesses and their staff are the backbone of our community and they all need us now more than ever.

We will be closed Friday 1/30 in solidarity with the National Blackout.
This restaurant was founded by a Guatemalan daughter of immigrants and her husband. Our food, our flavors, our way of showing up come from lived experience, family history, and culture , not trends.
With everything happening right now in the U.S., including ICE raids and the fear being carried by immigrant families, staying open as if it’s “business as usual” doesn’t sit right with us.
Our culture is not political, but our humanity is constantly politicized.
We are closing for the day to pause, to reflect, and to stand with communities who are being targeted, erased, or asked to be silent. This space has always been about more than tacos. It’s about roots, resilience, and respect.
We’ll reopen next week and continue doing what we’ve always done: cooking with intention, honoring where we come from, and serving our community with heart.
