For the past couple of years, Mercato Italiano has been a special part of the Boca Raton community. 🇮🇹🍷

Today, we’re excited to share that a new chapter is beginning.

We’re incredibly grateful to Suzanne and Silvia for creating Mercato Italiano and making it such a special part of the neighborhood. We’re honored to carry what they started forward into its next chapter.

Mercato Italiano is now under new ownership, led by your neighborhood sommelier, Kush Kastrati.

We’re also very happy that familiar faces from Mercato will be staying with us as we move forward.

We’ll be closing temporarily while we renovate and prepare for what’s next — longer hours, an expanded w**e experience, and more ways to enjoy Mercato.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we share the loss of someone truly special to all of us at Mercato.

Suzy walked into every room with warmth, kindness, and a smile that made everyone feel at home.

She was part of the soul of Mercato — in the laughter, the conversations, the little moments that made this place feel like family.

We are heartbroken, and she will be deeply missed by all of us, our team, and our community.

We send our love and prayers to her family during this incredibly difficult time.
