Before half of you start yelling “TOO SOON!” at your phones, we need to settle something.

When is it officially acceptable to decorate for Christmas?

🎃 A. BEFORE HALLOWEEN
The tree is up. The lights are on. Zero shame. Halloween can simply coexist with Christmas. 🎄👻

🦃 B. NOVEMBER 1ST
Halloween is over. You gave fall its moment. Christmas season begins IMMEDIATELY.

🍗 C. AFTER THANKSGIVING
There are RULES, people. Respect the turkey. Christmas must wait its turn.

📅 D. DECEMBER 1ST
November is still fall and some of you Christmas people need to CALM DOWN. 😂

😳 E. SOME OTHER ANSWER THAT WILL PROBABLY HORRIFY THE REST OF US

We're asking now because there may or may not already be people around here thinking about Christmas… 👀🎅

🏈🤍 BOARDMAN — THESE KIDS NEED US THURSDAY NIGHT. 🤍🏈

Thursday night is Senior Night for the Boardman Spartans as they take on the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish — and it’s also the LAST HOME GAME of the season.

We want to ask our community for something:

SHOW UP.

This season hasn’t gone the way these young men hoped it would.

But they kept practicing.

They kept working.

They kept putting on that Boardman jersey.

And every Friday night, they kept walking onto that field representing our school and our community.

For the seniors, Thursday night means even more.

It’s the last time they’ll walk into that stadium as players.

The last time they’ll put on their Boardman uniform for a home game.

The last time they’ll stand on that sideline with their teammates in front of their hometown crowd.

And regardless of what the scoreboard has said this season, those kids deserve to look into the stands Thursday night and see Boardman looking back at them.

So let’s fill the stadium.

Wear the maroon and white. 🤍

Bring the kids. Bring the neighbors. Call your friends.

Get loud.

And when those seniors take their home field one final time, let’s make sure they know that their community is proud of them and is standing behind them.

These kids have kept showing up all season.

Thursday night, it’s our turn to show up for them.
