As we celebrate Memorial Day, we want to take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. military. To pay our respects and allow our employees to spend time with their families, we will be closed today.

It’s Catfish Friday at The Dixie Pig! 🐟
Dive into a golden-fried plate of Southern goodness served with hand-cut fries, hush puppies, slaw, and our famous house-made tartar sauce - or, if catfish isn’t your catch of the day, reel in one of our juicy burgers, crispy chicken strips, hot tamales, fresh salads with our house-made dressings, and more from our full menu.

And don’t forget our legendary traditional Southern pit‑chopped BBQ, cooked the old-fashioned way and proudly served for 103 years and counting! We are open from 11am to 7:30pm.

A little chilly outside but a little chili inside. The pit is lit and we have foods to warm you up!

How about a tamale spread with chili, cheddar cheese, onions, and jalapeños? Or pig fries with our hand-cut french fries, nacho cheese and our famous chopped pork drizzled with sauce. 🤤

While we are known for our bbq, we have even more to please even the pickiest eaters. We are here from 11am to 7:30pm. Come taste the tradition!

It’s National BBQ Month y’all and we appreciate Kat Robinson kicking it off with The Dixie Pig!

It's National Barbecue Month! Arkansas has a whole lot to celebrate when it comes to barbecue in Arkansas. I've spent the past three years in deep study on the subject, with one book out (The Arkansas Barbecue Traveler, a travel guide to nearly 400 barbecue restaurants in Arkansas) and three more on the way. I've learned a lot of things - including the fact that our state's 'cue is defined not by a sauce, but a dedication to wood smoke and a long cook time. As my dude Grav says, Arkansas barbecue "don't need no sauce, don't need no teef."

To kick off - here's a pork plate from the longrunning and esteemed eatery, The Dixie Pig BBQ, which dates back to the 1950s, with its Halsell family predecessor Rustic Inn going back to the 1920s. This here is hickory smoked, flame-licked pork shoulder, served with a side salad and fries. You can choose different sides if you wish. Note the famous sauce does not immediately come on the meat.
