Some of East Tennessee's most legendary barbecue is found at Ridgewood Barbecue in the small town of Bluff City, Tennessee, where this well-known spot has built a strong name over the years. It’s the kind of place you could drive right past if you didn’t know it was there, tucked tight against the side of a mountain like it blends right into the rock. Inside, it’s small, plain, and all about the food. Folks line up for the sliced pork sandwiches covered in their bold, tangy sauce that tastes like nowhere else. The baked beans come out in heavy crock bowls, and the blue cheese dip is something regulars always make sure to order. Plates come out stacked high, the sweet tea hits the spot, and from the second you walk in, you feel right at home.

Tuesday to Thursday 11:00am-7:30pm
Friday and Saturday 11:00am-2:30pm
4:30pm-8:30pm
