Memorial Day is not necessarily a happy day. It is a solemn day of remembrance, honor, gratitude, and reflection. It is a day to pause and recognize the tremendous sacrifice made by those who laid down their lives for this country and for the people they loved.
We are blessed to live in the greatest nation on earth because of the courage and sacrifice of generations of Americans who were willing to give all they had for something bigger than themselves.
To the families who carry the loss of a loved one who never came home... we honor you and remember with you today.
To our veterans who lost brothers and sisters beside them in service... we thank you, we respect you, and we remember those you carry in your hearts.
May God bless the families of the fallen, may God bless our veterans, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
