Celebrating 80 years! 🎉

Jack and his family joined us this weekend to celebrate his 80th birthday, and we couldn’t have been happier to be part of such a special day. With the beautiful weather, they enjoyed their celebration out on our patio—and it was the perfect setting.

We’re so grateful Jack chose BRU Burger Bar to celebrate this milestone with his family!

Whether it’s a birthday, a family get-together, or just a reason to get everyone around the same table, we’d love to be part of your next celebration. We take reservations and have spaces that are perfect for gathering with the people you love.

School might be back in session, but summer isn’t over just yet, friends! 😎

There are still plenty of warm evenings, sunny afternoons, and a few more weeks to soak up every last bit of summer — maybe even a little flavor. 💜

Our Lavender Lemonade is made in-house with fresh lavender syrup and fresh lemon juice for that perfectly balanced sweet-and-tart sip.

And if you want to make it a cocktail, there’s the Lavender Fields Forever — our house-made lavender lemonade with New Amsterdam Vodka and St. Germain elderflower liqueur.

One last sip of summer? We’re not ready to let it go yet.

Jeff, Tiffany, and Tonya from Jeff Franklin Realtor Residential FCTucker stopped by BRU for lunch this past week, thinking they were just here for a bite to eat… little did they know they were about to go house hunting.

Okay, maybe not house hunting. 😂

After hearing about the legend of the Tiny Cheeseburger, they searched high and low until they finally found it!

Looks like these professional house hunters are pretty good at finding tiny things, too.

If you haven’t joined the hunt yet, here’s how it works:

It’s been our bestselling burger for years, and once you try the combination of Taleggio cheese, bacon, tomato jam, caramelized onions, chopped lettuce, and mayo, it’s easy to see why.

We had a special visit on Friday! Corey and Jen King, the owners of Bubbas Pizzas in Bedford, stopped by for lunch, and they were every bit as kind and fun as we’d heard. They even joined the hunt for the Tiny Cheeseburger…and found it! 🍔🔎 Proof that the hunt really is fun for all ages!

If you haven’t made the short drive to Bubba’s yet, we can’t recommend it enough. Their pizza is incredible, the breadsticks are soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside (the beer cheese is a must!), the homemade meatballs are huge, and everything we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious.

There’s plenty of room at the table for great local restaurants, and we’re lucky to have so many right here in southern Indiana. We love supporting fellow local businesses and hope you’ll show them some love too! 💙🍔
