The Lucca Grill was established in 1936 by brothers Fred and John Baldini and was named for their hometown of Lucca, Italy. From the beginning, the Baldini brothers offered an outstanding menu in a friendly atmosphere, a way of business which has been sustained by succeeding generations and has become, indeed, a Tradition of Quality. Our customers always feel "at home" at the Lucca Grill, with the

familiar antique mahogany bar, the ornate tin ceiling, the first pizza in Central Illinois, and the many framed newspaper feature articles about the Lucca Grill from our local newspaper, The Pantagraph, to The New York Times, to The Washington Post. It has been nurtured for eight decades and is being continued by long time managers and now owners John Koch and Tony Smith.

(Friday, Aug. 14) Unfortunately, Lucca Grill will be closed today due to internet outages caused by yesterday's microburst storm.
Our internet powers both our phone system and our payment processing, so until service is restored, we are unable to operate. We'll reopen as soon as we're back online and ready to serve you.
Our hearts go out to everyone cleaning up after the storm. We know many homes, families, and local businesses were impacted. As our community recovers, we encourage everyone to be a little more patient, a little more gentle with one another, and, when you can, support the small businesses working to get back on their feet.
