SWIPE for the cake that started me on my journey ➡️

Happy National Cake Decorating Day! 🍰

The one on the left is from my early days — lopsided layers, buttercream that fought me the whole time and dozens upon dozens of hand molded fondant roses. I remember looking at it thinking, “how do people do this??”

The one on the right is recent. Same hands, same tools — just years of practice, mistakes, and refusing to give up in between.

Everything I learned between these two cakes — stacking, smoothing, piping, all the little fixes nobody tells you — is exactly what I teach in my Birthday Cake Masterclass.

If you’ve ever wanted to decorate like the cake on the right, I’ll walk you through it step by step.
