** NARRAGANSETT BAY BOATING ADVISORY **

Portions of the East Passage of Narragansett Bay between Gould Island and Conanicut (Jamestown), and extending to Pell Newport Bridge, will be temporarily closed to vessel traffic on Saturday, July 13 from 6:30 - 9:30 a.m. for the Save The Bay Swim.

Vessel traffic may pass on the west side of Jamestown.

Boaters with questions should contact Save The Bay (401-272-3540) PRIOR to the event.

This year’s Blues on the Block music series kicks off tomorrow with Tyler-James and the Long Fives! This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fred Benson Town Beach starting at 5:30.

We’re kicking off the 4th of July holiday tomorrow with fireworks at dusk! The display will be set off from a barge in the Block Island Sound and can be seen from almost any location on the island!
