Enjoy stunning ocean views and a large outside dining deck overlooking Block Islands famous Crescent Beach. Our menu includes fresh fish, pasta, steaks, lobster and shellfish as well as interesting appetizers and large salads. Our lunch menu is a family favorite with many sandwiches and smaller portions of our seafood platters. A Block Islandl favorite, the Beachead offers daily fresh specials, a great kid’s menu and a large selection of beer and wine as well as a signature drink list and full bar. Outside seating and catering available.

🌅 And just like that, the sun has set on another summer at The Beachead🤍
The Beachead is officially closed for the 2026 summer season!
We were planning to be open tomorrow, but after an incredibly busy Sunday, we’ve officially run out of food (we’ll take that as a pretty great way to end the season 😉). So, we’re calling it a wrap a day early!
Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer, supported us, shared a meal with us, and made 2026 one to remember. We are so grateful for our amazing guests and our incredible team who made this summer so special!
