We locked the doors at the Old Island Pub today for the last time. We thank you all- our supportive community, kind friends, dear co-workers and friendly patrons (most who have become like family)-for many years of loving support to our little family business. We opened OIP 13 years ago, were closed a couple years to build a new spot and have been open in that new spot nearly 6 years until today. The kindness and love that has been shown through all that time (and many years of family bars beforehand) is indescribable. We’ve laughed, cried, danced, celebrated new babies, weddings, celebrations of life and memorials, birthdays, family reunions, had countless fundraisers, served about a million tacos and raised a few beers and just had a damn good time. Thank you isn’t enough but for now, that’s all I can say- many thanks and a lotta love. Cheers to the future 🍻

Due to some minor kitchen issues, Taco Tuesday will look a little different this week…. We will be seating to the capacity that we can but after 4 o’clock we recommend calling in orders as takeout (466-2400). The girls will still be in the dining room to make drinks but wait times for food will require some patience (we are basically operating at half staff in the kitchen). We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your continued patronage and understanding 🌮

We hate to say good bye to Calaveras today (come on in! It’s their last day for the season!) It’s been a pleasure to have them sharing our space this summer 🌮
We have some plans for the future of the kitchen and dining room at 85 Ocean Avenue (bottom floor will remain the Old Island Pub!) but we are open to hear some ideas- if anyone else is interested in leasing a kitchen/dining room space then please contact Paige ([email protected]) or give me a ☎️ call.
