Tonight from 6-8PM, we're hosting another Evening with the Expert — and if you've been before, you already know you want a seat.
Brad Patrick of Specialty Wines of Georgia is joining us to guide a tasting of four small-production wines, each one paired with provisions from our kitchen. Brad has a way of making every glass feel like a story worth hearing — where the wine comes from, who made it, and why it ended up in your hands. It's a relaxed, unhurried evening built around curiosity and good company.
$45 per person.

You do not have to know everything about wine to enjoy what we pour. Our team loves talking through the list — where a bottle comes from, what makes it interesting, what to pair it with from the provisions menu. If you have been wanting to explore wine but did not know where to start, we are exactly the right room. Come in. Ask questions. Leave with a new favorite.

The Source That Never Sleeps: Tapping Into Your Inner Reservoir

There is an ancient idea that the most powerful forces in the universe aren’t the loud, aggressive ones, but the ones that are quiet, receptive, and persistent. It’s often described as a "mysterious valley"—a low point that, because it is open and empty, becomes the source of everything else. It is a creative energy that is always there, whispered to be "the root of heaven and earth."

In our modern "hustle" culture, we are taught to be the mountain—peaked, prominent, and rigid. But the mountain eventually erodes. The valley, on the other hand, is where the water flows and life flourishes.

Coffee as the "Valley" of Your Day: Think of your morning coffee break as that valley. It’s a quiet dip in the terrain of your busy schedule. It isn't a place of "doing"; it’s a place of receiving. When you sit with your mug, you aren't pushing the world away; you are creating a space for your energy to pool and replenish.

The Soft Power of Stillness: Like the steam rising from your cup, true strength is often ethereal and soft. You don’t need to force your way through the day. When you stay grounded and "low" (humble and present), you’ll find you have more endurance than when you’re constantly strained.

An Exhaustless Supply: We often feel like we’re running on empty, but the "valley" suggests that there is a creative spark within us that is actually inexhaustible. We just have to stop long enough to tap into it.

Effortless Flow: The best coffee happens when the water flows naturally through the grounds. Life works the same way. When we stop over-structuring every second, we find a rhythm that feels less like a struggle and more like a flow.

Today, don’t just use your coffee as a "battery." Use it as a reminder that you have a deep, quiet reservoir of strength inside you that never runs dry. Stay receptive. Stay grounded. Let the day flow to you.

We call it Provisions for a reason. The food at Dancing Rabbits is not an afterthought — it is part of the experience. Whether you are pairing a small board with a glass of red or grabbing something light to go with your afternoon latte, what we put in front of you is chosen with the same intention as everything else we do. Come hungry. Leave impressed.

The new coffee specials menu is live and we could not be more excited about it. Our baristas have been building something worth talking about — seasonal flavors, unexpected combinations, drinks that prove craft espresso is never boring when it is done right. Come in any day, starting at 6 AM, and ask what is new. The answer will be worth it.

Date night in Blairsville just got an upgrade. Dancing Rabbits is the kind of place where you linger over a glass of Provence rosé, share something from the provisions menu, and actually have the conversation you have been meaning to have. We are open every evening until 8 PM. Make the reservation in your head. The table will be ready.

The Bellows of the Soul: Finding Balance in the Breath and the Brew

There is a powerful perspective that suggests the universe doesn't play favorites. It doesn't fuss over us or harbor a personal agenda; it simply functions, providing the space for all things to exist, much like a pair of bellows. As long as there is movement, there is life. As long as there is space, there is potential.

We often treat our lives like a cup we are trying to cram too much into. We overthink, we over-explain, and we talk ourselves into exhaustion. We think that by saying more or doing more, we are achieving more. But often, the more we "talk" at our problems, the further we get from the solution.

The Space Between the Sips: Think of your coffee break as the "hollow" in the bellows. It is the empty space that makes the work possible. If the bellows were always compressed, they couldn't move air. If your schedule is always full, your mind can't breathe.

Exhaustion vs. Emptiness: We often fear being "empty," but emptiness is where the heat is generated. When you sit in silence with your coffee—no scrolling, no planning, no chatter—you are allowing the bellows of your spirit to expand.

Nature’s Neutrality: A coffee bean grows because the conditions are right, not because the sun "likes" the plant. When we stop taking every setback personally and start seeing life as a natural process, we save an incredible amount of energy.

The Power of the Pause: Instead of a thousand words today, try a thousand breaths. Use the time it takes for your coffee to cool to simply "be."

The world will keep spinning and the "bellows" of life will keep moving. You don't need to exhaust yourself trying to control the wind. Today, hold your center. Let your coffee be your anchor. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop talking, stop striving, and just breathe.
