This old building has worn a lot of hats. Built in the early 1900s, it began as a bank, later became many other things, and eventually sat waiting for someone to see what it could become next.

When we purchased the building, we knew there was a lot of work ahead. We turned part of it into our furniture and home décor store, breathed new life into the old spaces, and eventually began dreaming about something even bigger—a place where people could sit down, share a meal, and enjoy the little town we love.

And that’s how Farmhouse Junction|Home Decor and Second Breakfast Bistro & Tea House came to be.

But the truth is, the work is never finished.

There is always another project, another idea, another corner that needs some love. Progress never really stops when you’re building something you believe in.

Looking back at these old pictures and then seeing where we are today reminds me just how much can happen when you’re willing to keep working, keep dreaming, and keep moving forward.

The building has changed. The businesses have evolved. The vision has grown.

And there’s still work to do. ❤️

So we keep going. Because around here, the work never really stops—and neither does the dream.

What businesses do you remember occupying these buildings?
