Seeing a swipe count on your Grubhub receipt and wondering what’s going on? Let’s clear the air! 📣

Short answer: Your Unlimited Dining Plan is STILL unlimited. Nothing about your plan, access, or meal allotment has changed!
Why the receipt shows a number: To make our ordering systems work smoothly on Grubhub, the backend software requires a numeric tracker. We set this to 15 swipes per day (allowing 1 swipe per hour during operating hours) so you have complete coverage from open to close.

• Order your 1872 Fire Grill breakfast on Grubhub.
• Enjoy your unlimited meals. You will never run out of swipes and they rest daily.
• Ignore the swipe count on the receipt!

Is your palate fireproof? 🔥🌶

See if you can Tame the Flame in this year's Chili Challenge competition in D2's East Flex Room October 12th-16th from 11am-5pm! Compete in a 5 day challenge where everyday you must eat and finish a bowl of chili. Each day the chili grows hotter until the final day that will test even the strongest of palates. Starting from jalapeños to blazing with the Carolina reaper, sign up and complete the challenge to gain a unique Chili Challenge t-shirt.

✅Rules:
Daily Commitment: You must eat one bowl of chili each day, Monday through Friday, between 11am-5pm to remain in the challenge. Skipping a day results in automatic disqualification.
Location & Check-In: You must eat in the designated Chili Challenge area and bring your event lanyard every day.
Verification: A judge must inspect and verify your completely finished bowl each day before you leave the area.
Beverages: Only plain water is permitted while eating. No milk, dairy, or outside drinks are allowed.
Prize: Everyone who successfully completes all 5 days will receive an exclusive Chili Challenge t-shirt.

You confirm that you are participating voluntarily, are in good health, and agree not to hold Virginia Tech Dining Services responsible for any physical reactions or aftereffects.
