Four tables finished up and delivered. 2 slabs of Nogal (Peruvian Walnut) ended up making one sofa table and a shelf, and the top of two end tables. The shelves in the end tables are Nogal as well, but weren’t slabs to start with. The coffee table is a Guanacaste cookie that I had Brandon with szuch_design cut a recess into the top for a glass insert. Everything is finished in Rubio Monocoat pure.

Everyone had a great time and made an awesome bowl. Using the easywoodtools made everyone’s turning experience super enjoyable.

It’s going to be a hot one today, so what am I doing? Teaching a group how to turn a bowl using Easy Wood Tools. Easy Wood Tools are fantastic tools for any experience level of turner but really shiny for beginners. I can’t wait to see what this massive chunk of Amboyna Burl looks like after turning and finishing.

Hey everyone, come see me and the other vendors at Okie Family Market south location this Saturday for the monthly swap/market. I’ll be out there with the best cutting boards, charcuterie boards, bowls, pens, etc you’ll find in the area. Support local businesses, and get some Christmas shopping done early. 9-12 🎄 🎄☀️🎅🏾

It’s springtime in Oklahoma which means 2 things; tornados and weddings. Someone is a very good friend to 3 couples as they are gifting them their own large walnut cutting board. Each board is 15.75”x20”x1.25” with a juice groove and handles. Each board is also customized for the happy couple. 💑 ❤

We love how a turned bowl paired with a handcrafted board can turn an ordinary kitchen moment into something worth remembering. I often set a warm loaf next to a finished board and bowl — simple, intentional, and ready to become a family staple. Each piece is small-batch, American-made, and finished by hand so it feels like more than a gift — it’s an heirloom. We love helping you find the perfect, personal gift — especially when it becomes an heirloom. For newlyweds, we recommend a walnut board with a subtle date engraving; for the home chef, a thick maple workhorse with a custom recipe laser-engraved; for milestone anniversaries, our charcuterie-style board in cherry with a meaningful message. All are small-batch, American-made, and built to last. Visit https://wix.to/7Uefgsf to see options, lead times, and engraving ideas. We craft each hardwood board in small batches with care and faith guiding our work—no factory shortcuts here. Close-up shots show the tight joinery, hand-sanded finish, and durable grain that outlasts mass-made pieces. I’ll personalize it with laser engraving so your wedding, anniversary, or homecoming gift becomes a true family heirloom. January 1, we found a leak in our reverse osmosis system, and after assessing damage we filed a claim with our homeowners insurance. They approved it, and sent out a mitigation team. They did everything they could and were supposed to do. After 10 or so days they were finished and turned me over to the remodel side of the same company. I never had a great feeling about the remodel side of things and ended up firing them the day before they were supposed to start demo, for misleading communications. After interviewing a couple other contractors I decided to go it alone. In all of this I’ve learned that festool_usa needs to come up with a cup holder for the TG-LHS 225. 😂
