Legend. Never to be forgotten.
We deeply mourn the passing of Angela Lansbury đź’–, who will be remembered for her incredible work in Hollywood 🎞️ (most notably playing crime novelist Jessica Fletcher on “Murder, She Wrote”) and on Broadway đźŽ, winning five Tony Awards for “Mame,” “Dear World,” “Gypsy,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” and “Blithe Spirit” (for which she also won her first Olivier in 2015).
Film audiences will forever remember her as the original voice of Mrs. Potts in “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.” Thank you, Angela. You have graced the stage for more than 50 years, and will continue to do so in our hearts. Rest in Peace ✨
