Happy Earth Day!

As many of you know, we take pride in making conscientious choices in how we impact the environmental impact of our businesses. As a member of the Alabama Environmental Council's Earth Aware Team, we are a Gold Level member by choosing to reduce our footprint with items that are normally disposable and/or washable and recycling when and where possible. This includes glass bottles used in the business daily and from our consumers via the Glass Half Full recycling program locally. In addition to those measures, we also have 2 special coffee blends that intentionally focus on conservation, education and interaction with these programs locally via Alabama Audubon and Jones Valley blends. Thank you for your support in all that we do!

Price Increases for coffee and espresso drinks:
Many of you have probably already been hearing about price increases in the coffee world due to tariffs and other contributing factors. There is no denying it, food costs are higher in general, along with transportation, labor, and the coffee market continues to be at an all time high for similar reasons, on top of tariffs and climate stressors on coffee plantations around the world. We are implementing a few small price increases as of Friday November 7th in the category of coffee and espresso based drinks to help offset these costs. Thank you for your understanding and loyalty. We just had to share!

It's time for the Farmers Market at Pepper Place to kick off a new season. We look forward to seeing you back, especially if it's been a while. We have done some updates to our menu in terms of looks and pricing. Please understand, we have been absorbing the rising food costs for a while now and need to stay current with market demands to stay financially healthy. Winter Food and Drink Specials!

We have some fun food and drink specials lined up for you this Winter and Holiday Season. For those of you who remember our menu pre-Covid, we had Spanakopita on the menu back in the day. We have an alternative version now being sold on a limited basis in the pastry display cases as a spinach and feta hand pie. It's the same fillings, but in an easier to manage and more portable version using our flaky pastry dough from Bham Breadworks. Be sure to check it out and ask our staff if you don't see it.
