APPLE CRISP SOURDOUGH DISCARD SCONES - Local apples that I turn into a jammy delicious compote experience? Check. Cold-pressed apple cider? Check. Local and free range eggs, grassfed butter, and grassfed milk? Also check. Oh, and did I mention BROWN butter? Vanilla? Spices? Cinnamon chips? Oat streusel?!?!? Flaky sawlt as would say? Listen, I’m over the top, and it works.

This is everyone’s fave…well. That is, until blueberry season. And then, that is…until PEACH SEASON.

And if I’m gonna get real with you, these scones were inspired by Annie. Apple crisp is her fave, and she’s my fave.

Ugh. I love fruit and I love these scones.

I adapt my recipe from The Perfect Loaf cookbook. Every time I want a new flavor, I tweak this recipe and come up with something new. Great bones, with new construction.

CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SOURDOUGH DISCARD SCONES - Gawgeous. Super rich and chocolatey sourdough discard scone made with local spelt+ free range eggs, grassfed butter, grassfed milk, and organic cocoa powder. Studded with roasted hazelnuts and hazelnut milk chocolate by - yum. Topped with a glaze made with a boatload of the BEST thing on earth: organic hazelnut cacao butter. This stuff is seriously unmatched. Oh, and I added some candied hazelnut dust and a sprinkle because I care.

Move OVER Nutella. I’m very busy with my tub of Artisana Hazelnut Cacao butter.

GARLIC HONEY SOURDOUGH FOCACCIA - My dream scenario.

Fluffy as hell. Made with local spelt and einkorn from and local honey from Black Dog. All prefermented flour. Garlic from and salt. Filtered water.
