Well, today is the day! It is Mandi’s last shift (temporarily) before she goes and brings a beautiful baby girl into the world! We are really hoping this place doesn’t collapse while she’s gone (it’s fine, really, we’ll be fine 😬). Everyone who comes here knows what she means to The Union.
I mean, what can we say about our sweet Manders? I came up with a few words… loving, caring, passionate (she pours all of her heart into everything she does), extremely hard working (you have to force her to take a day off), loyal, spunky, charismatic, fun, friendly, hilarious, sometimes clumsy, full of faith, compassionate, empathetic, she stands firm on her values and beliefs, she’s so strong, she’s positive, she strives for her dreams, when she wants to get something done, she does it, trusting, lives up to her word, dependable, she looks for the best in people, she’s always shows for those she cares about, 100% of the time. She’s been to hell and back a couple times and still always positive and always believes for the best. She is everything we strive for the Union to be. And her little girl is extremely lucky that she’s going to have such an amazing mother.
What are we going to do while she’s gone? I don’t know. But I’m assuming she will still be checking in most days to see what she can do to help and we are going to have to force her to take her time off lol.
Today is her last shift. Come down and wish her well. You can even bring her gifts if you wanted because she deserves it all!
Manders, we wish you all the best in this huge step in your life. I know how excited you are and we are all so excited for you. We can’t wait to meet this perfect little girl! We love you!!
