Hello everyone. You may have noticed we have been quiet for a while here on facebook. That is because we have been trying to put together the words to tell you that we are closing.
A few know about this but we are now letting the public know that after 8/23/2024, Grassroots Cafe will no longer be serving coffee or food to everyone anymore and will be officially CLOSED.
We want to thank the Bundy Museum for giving us a home for the past 2 years and it's been a blast being able to serve on the Bundy’s campus. We are nothing but thankful for the opportunity they have given us and allowing us to be part of their community. All the staff and Bundy crew, we appreciate you all!
We would like to thank our customers, friends, family and loved ones for supporting us during our time here running Grassroots Cafe. We loved making you smile, laugh and bring you the best service we could offer possible. However, we are closing this chapter in our lives and we couldn’t be more than thankful for those who allowed us in your life by trying our coffee and food. Shane and Roundsy want to thank you and to let you know that they love you all. There is no drama, bad blood or anything of that sort in our decision to close. We just have decided to turn to a new chapter in our lives at this current time so keep an out for Shane and Roundsy for their futures.
Shane has aspirations for a different career path possibly and has things to take care of in his life but we know his passion for coffee won’t keep him out forever.
Roundsy plans on doing catering and being involved with food. So keep an eye for him as he won’t be walking away serving up great food wherever he goes.
Mike “The Media Guy” who has been with Shane and Roundsy behind the scenes since the very beginning. He was involved in making of their videos, such as “the parking video” and the video/ media content the page has put out. He was happy to give the two a chance to have their sense of humor and personality shine. Mike will still continue to consult and help other businesses create content/media .
Thank you all for all the years. From the start on Chenango St to our ending here at the Bundy.
