Cold brew is a misnomer for this drink. It’s not brewed. It’s steeped over hours. Even overnight. Unlike iced coffee which is traditionally brewed and served over ice. So…. When you order a cold brew and it’s not brewed but steeped, Don’t Kill Your Barista. 😊

On today’s post of “Don’t Kill Your Barista”…. The infamous… LATTE!
This drink is more widely ordered than almost any espresso drink out there. Many coffee companies have even mis represented a traditional macchiato, Cortado, flat white and many more while actually giving you a latte. You may ask.. what’s the difference? It’s all in the milk and foam. This drink has, by far more milk and foam than any other espresso mixed drink out there PLUS, it is most typically the one that has flavor added. While flavor can be added to any espresso drink there are many that traditionally don’t, the latte being the exception. It’s served both hot and iced.
So… when you get a drink that has lots of milk no matter what you may have called it, you got a latte. Here at Cornerstone Cafe, you WILL get what your ordered so… Don’t Kill Your Barista!

On today’s post of “Don’t Kill Your Barista”… the Iced Coffee.
Iced Coffee is just what it says. Brewed coffee over ice. Nothing fancy, just cold. Some like flavor, milk and/or sugar added to it but it’s just as good as a hot black coffee. Especially on one of the Coasts hot mornings.
So… when you get coffee over ice in your cup and not espresso, Don’t Kill Your Barista, we gave you what you ordered. 😊

Good rainy Tuesday morning. On today’s post of.. “Don’t Kill Your Barista… The Mocha!
A Mocha is the yummy and chocolaty latte that features chocolate, espresso and your choice of milk. Served hot or cold this yummy treat is great.
I like mine with some caramel added so this drink is very customizable.
Not into espresso. Just order a hot chocolate.

Today in Don’t Kill Your Barista…. Espresso!
Did you know about espresso and Caffeine? It’s Highly caffeinated per volume (about 60–80 mg per shot), though less per typical serving than a full mug of drip coffee.
BUT it’s only about 1-2 oz so don’t expect to have a mug. Your get it in an espresso cup or in a Togo cup that makes it look like an almost empty cup.
