We’ve had about half the bars report their sales to us and this is where we’re at!

Not too shabby for a bunch of small dive bars pulling together to help a fellow tavern owner during a tragic situation. ♥️

Good evening, We’ve had a few more totals trickle in and wanted to give an update!

So far, our total is $18,622 with 15 bars reporting!!

I will be reaching out to the other bars this week and will continue to update the total. Thank you all!

If you’ve been in over the last few weeks, you’re well aware that one of our air conditioners was fighting for its life before it completely died on us. And during that ridiculous heat wave. So basically we had only one air conditioner trying to cool the whole building.

Was it completely unbearable? No. Was it ideal? Also no. And was Saturday night’s fundraiser a balmy 82 degrees inside? Absolutely. I mean nothing says community support quite like gambling and having a drink with a light sheen of sweat.

But we have great news: our AC guy is currently on the roof installing the new parts, which means our brief and completely unintentional era of hot gambling is officially coming to an end!

Thank you to all of our amazing customers for being so patient, keeping your pants on, and being so shockingly good-natured about it. You all handled it like the absolute champs you are.

Cooler air is on the way today, you guys! 😊

Just a reminder that with the reign of Motel 6 officially behind us, it’s a whole different vibe here at High Tide.

There was a time when every shift began with fresh hair, optimism, and a fully regulated nervous system but ended with a thousand-yard stare and a story so absolutely unhinged that it sounded made up.

Working next door to Motel 6 built character. It also built hypervigilance, elevated cortisol, and an almost supernatural ability to spot a tweaker from across the parking lot.

But those days are officially behind us. We’re healing. We’re thriving.

Come have a drink, play a machine, say hi to our new girls, and enjoy the new era of High Tide where the entertainment is now mostly intentional.😉

Good morning all! We had a few bars report fundraiser totals yesterday!

So far with 7 bars reporting and the GoFundMe donations we are at $12,986 raised for Tamara and the Carmel's Sports Bar family❤️‍🩹

I will make more updates when we get more totals. Thank you all for your support and donations.

You guys… we are a small bar. In fact we’re much more a casino than we are a bar. We actually give most of our inventory away and on a really good day we’re lucky to do $200 in bar sales. But this little bar showed up in a very big way!

Between the profits from our bar, the donation jar, and the money from the rose-colored glasses, at High Tide alone we collectively raised almost $1,700 for Tamara and her people! And I sent the money off yesterday!

Thank you to every single person who came through the door, shared the fundraiser, contributed what they could, or simply showed up to remind another bar owner that she is not alone in the middle of an unimaginable tragedy.

On a side note, unfortunately we cannot respond to every sad situation that touches our hearts but having grown up in this industry I will always be one to help my fellow owners if I am able to. Nicole and I are actually working on something special behind the scenes so we can continue showing up for this industry and community in the future when it’s needed.

I want to once again give a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who jumped on board with us. I hope you all continue to keep Tamara and her people in your thoughts, prayers, and hearts as they continue to navigate the aftermath of this tragedy.
