As Bigfork Village marks its 125th Anniversary this Sunday, May 17th, we’re thrilled to share that our CFBB fundraiser event is completely SOLD OUT! Please note that tickets must be presented at the door for entry.

Thank you for your incredible loyalty and the love you show in every reply! We are hard at work finishing a restoration designed to let this landmark shine for another 100 years.

While we preserve the iconic style you love, it will be spotlessly clean with many fantastic updates. From the plumbing and HVAC to a massive state-of-the-art kitchen, every corner of the Inn is receiving modern improvements.

*The Reopening: We are officially aiming for Spring 2026.

*The Dance Floor: Yes, it’s been reinforced and topped with beautiful new wood!

*The Perfect Fit: We are currently interviewing operators to find the right team to provide excellent service and mouthwatering menu this location merits.

A SWEET Announcement! Cup O’Soul will be opening their second Farm to Table Ice Cream location at the Historic Bigfork Inn Café in July! The Bigfork Inn Café is a new enlarged section on the west side of the historic Bigfork Inn which has been undergoing restoration for 2.5 years.

This is the second location for Farm to Table owners Jesse and Duane Schrade. Their first location on Nucleus Avenue in Columbia Falls has been a town favorite for several years, and chances are you have seen their bright red Ice Cream Trailer at hundreds of Flathead Valley events!

Farm to Table Ice Cream will be serving hand-made small batch delicious ice cream using ingredients sourced from local Montana Farmers who are as passionate about the quality of their products as they are. They’ve created a magical ice cream store with something for everyone. Whether you are looking for the perfect Cup of Soul coffee or just want to try our fabulous homemade banana bread, they have it!
Unique flavors such as Wild Huckleberry, Flathead Cherry, Farmhouse Chocolate, Mountain Mint Chocolate Chip, Madagascar Vanilla, Espresso Mocha Flake and other unique creations. In addition, they will be serving floats, homemade waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, espressos, affogatos and coffees. They also bake their own cookies and delicious breads plus offer various drinks.

The new Bigfork Inn “Café” is three times the size of the old snack shop in this location. In addition to inside seating, this location offers guests a newly constructed, large and beautiful deck to relax and enjoy a spectacular view of Bigfork Harbor and upper Flathead Lake.

The Bigfork Inn is located at 604 Electric Avenue, Bigfork, MT 59911. At the intersection of Grand and Electric Avenue and built in 1937, it is the most historic building in the town.

After that big response to our post in January 2023, we want to provide an update.

The Bigfork Inn is temporarily closed for a thoughtful restoration to make the Inn last another 80-100 years. It’s a big project and so many things either can’t be rushed or are held up by long delivery times. Because of the size and scope of the restoration, we don’t see the restaurant and bar opening in 2024.

All electrical, plumbing, HVAC, bar, lighting and sound system will be new. Plus a new enlarged state of the art kitchen!! All new windows, doors & insulation plus extensive structural repairs. We’ve added a new west side cafe deck and the entire hillside needed to be rebuilt with a stacked rock retaining wall. There is too much to list!

As mentioned before, it’s a quality restoration keeping with the enduring style of the Bigfork Inn. We are dedicated to providing the community with a thoroughly refreshed landmark we can all enjoy for decades to come.
