It’s Prime-Rib Sunday and Music in the Mountains today! Try our incredibly delicious 13oz prime-grade prime rib w/baked potato, house-made steak sauce and horseradish cream AND… catch David Gouge and the Porch Puppies with a live set of classic country, folk and rock on our beautiful, covered patio! Prime rib from 1pm till it’s gone. Music from 1:30 to 4:30.

We picked up a bushel of Musso’s Market corn and made it into some street corn salad. Get it on its own for $6 or upgrade your side for $3. We can’t think of a better accompaniment to our marinated flank steak with chimichurri. Available today and tomorrow while it lasts!

What’s Next for Restoring Pueblo Mountain Park
Restoration update
Pueblo City Public Works will present the next steps for the restoration of Pueblo Mountain Park to the Pueblo City Council on Monday, August 31. They plan to propose a community‑input process to help shape the future of the Park, ensuring residents have a direct voice in the restoration plan.

Beginning in September and October, the City of Pueblo, who has owned the Park since 1919, plans to host several in‑person community meetings—including one in Beulah and additional sessions throughout the greater Pueblo area. A written survey is also expected to be part of the process so people can share their ideas even if they cannot attend a meeting.

All community feedback gathered this fall will be used to develop the restoration plan for the Park. After the fires, flooding has impacted the roads and trails.

NWDC has fully transitioned all programming to the River Campus, allowing students, families, and visitors to stay engaged with nature even during this period of rebuilding. Our team is continuing the 5th grade field‑based program, homeschool classes, enrichment programs, and our partnership with Beulah School to enhance classroom curriculum with hands‑on learning.

We’ll share meeting dates and survey details as soon as they are released.
