Pepe's Pizza

Pepe's Pizza World Famous, New Haven-style pizza cooked in coal-fired ovens located right in Bethesda, MD.

At Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, our story began in 1925 with a commitment to family tradition, originality, and quality. Over the past 100 years, we’ve grown from our roots in New Haven to 17 locations, sharing our iconic New Haven-style apizzas (ah-beetz) with guests far and wide. Our grandfather, Frank Pepe, crafted pizzas using simple, time-honored recipes that have fed generations. Known for our signature white clam pizza and crispy, chewy, charred crust, we’re proud to be one of the nation’s oldest and most respected pizzerias, offering a truly authentic experience at every location.

Celebrating 5 years of Victor at Frank Pepe Pizzeria! 🍕

Victor joined us during the tail end of COVID with more than 20 years of restaurant experience. After working across several Frank Pepe locations and positions, he found his home in Chestnut Hill, where he’s most proud of the strong family culture his team has built.

“We care for each other and take pride in delivering the best pizza in Boston.”

Next time you see him, don't hesitate to congratulate him on this amazing accomplishment! And if you ask him his favorite Frank Pepe pie? He will not hesitate to tell you to try it: The Special with Hot Cherry Peppers. 🌶️

Hey Yalies! Settling into New Haven yet? 🎓 🐶

Here are some tips to know:
We call it apizza and it’s pronounced abeetz. We call it mootz, instead of mozzarella...and often you’ll hear us throw a G into the word “ricotta.” Just go with it. Welcome to New Haven!
