I have hunted Roe deer in a few countries,but never in my wildest dreams I thought that one day I would hunt them in Portugal.Fast forward 25 years and the northern zone of Portugal has a very healthy population of roe deer with great habitat and management.Last week I was there and my dreams came through,came home with two top trophies.

Back safe from my Ibex hunt to Kyrgyzstan.saw plenty of ibex,between 20 and 75 per day,shots can be kinda long ones,even though someone before me shot one at 20 yards.You need a good scope and a range finder(a must),Brought the trophy back with me.After the hunt you spend 2 days at a hotel in Bishkek while the outfitter arranges your cites and export papers,so you can bring the trophy back with you on the plane,saving about $1500 to $1800 dollars.The hunt is safe and people over there are supper friendly, appreciating your dollars.If anyone is vaguely interested in this hunt,contact me as I am going back next year and will book the hunt for you and tell you all the ins and outs of gun registration to importing the trophies into the USA and so on.

Back from Spain,great trip!Muchas gracias Juan Carlos!Had a wonderfull time and got some great trophies.Lost a few pounds before I left and guess what,I could not say no to the food and allmost back to stage one.The shooting was the easy part the retrieving of the trophies allmost did me in,but loved every second of it.
