And honestly… you guys might be onto something. 😂

So we’ve been talking.
Looking.
Thinking.
Maybe even checking out a few possibilities around town. 👀

I mean… after everything we’ve built at Plane Street, who knows what could be next?! 🤔

We’re not saying we’re moving…

…but we’re not saying we’re NOT moving either. 😏

Guess you’ll just have to wait and see.

Throwback Thursday ❤️

Five years ago, we took a leap of faith and bought this little cafe in Bethel. We had no idea just how much this place—and all of YOU—would come to mean to us.

Looking back at those early pictures, we see so much more than a building. We see the beginning of a dream. ☕️

Since then, Plane Street has grown, changed, celebrated, struggled, laughed, cried, welcomed new faces, said goodbye to some, and become a part of so many memories in our community.

We’ve added new menu items, expanded our coffee, added our bar, hosted countless events, celebrated milestones, and somehow even managed to bring home a few awards along the way. 🏆❤️

But honestly, the greatest part has never been the awards or the changes.

It’s YOU.

Every person who walked through our doors, grabbed a coffee, shared a meal, celebrated a birthday, hosted a shower, brought their family in, recommended us to a friend, left us a review, or simply said, “Keep going.”

Five years later, we’re still here. Still dreaming. Still growing. Still serving our little corner of Ohio one cup, one sandwich, and one conversation at a time.

So today, we’re throwing it back to where it all began. ❤️

Our latte special this morning is one of our favorites: White Chocolate Cinnamon Iced Latte, topped with sweet foam and a dash of cinnamon. 🤎✨

And while you’re enjoying your coffee, we want to share something that still feels a little surreal…

We were chosen as Cincinnati’s Family Choice Award winner for Favorite Independent Coffee Shop! 🏆☕️

Five years ago, when we bought this building and started Plane Street, we never imagined awards like this would be something we could attain. We knew there were bigger coffee shops, larger chains, and so many amazing places to choose from.

Honestly, our original dream was pretty simple: serve good coffee, a few pastries, some breakfast sandwiches, a few lunch sandwiches, and create a place where people felt welcome.

Somehow, that little dream has grown into something so much bigger. ❤️

We’ve welcomed so many amazing people through our doors, watched friendships form, celebrated milestones, served countless cups of coffee, and become part of this community in ways we never could have imagined.

So today, we just want to say THANK YOU.

Thank you for choosing a small, local coffee shop.
Thank you for bringing your families in.
Thank you for telling your friends about us.
Thank you for every coffee, every meal, every review, every kind word, and every visit.

Throwback Thursday ❤️

Five years ago, we took a chance on 125 W Plane St. in Bethel… and we had no idea just how much this place would become a part of our lives.
When we bought the building, we had a vision, a lot of hard work ahead of us, and probably more ideas than we knew what to do with! 😂
Five years later, we look back and realize just how much has happened inside these four walls.
☕ We've served thousands of cups of coffee.
🍳 We've served breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts and everything in between.
🎉 We've celebrated birthdays, showers, holidays, milestones and special occasions.
🏆 We've been honored with awards and recognition that we're incredibly proud of.
❤️ We've met people who walked in as customers and became friends.
🏘️ We've been blessed to become a part of this community in ways we never could have imagined.
We've changed the menu. We've changed the space. We've added new ideas, new services, new events, a bar and so many things we never dreamed would be part of our story five years ago.
And through all of those changes, one thing has never changed — the people.
Every person who has worked here, eaten here, celebrated here, laughed here, shared a cup of coffee here, or simply walked through our doors has helped make Plane Street what it is today.
There have been some incredible highs, some really hard days, and plenty of moments when we've wondered, “What in the world were we thinking?” 😂
But when we look back at where we started and where we are today, we're proud.
Five years. So many memories. So many people. So many cups of coffee. And so much more to come. ❤️
