Many of you have wondered what happened to our little café on the Bethany Boardwalk. As you may notice by the amount of time that has lapsed, this is not a knee-jerk reaction on my part. I’ve been so paralyzed by grief that it’s been hard to do anything. When this first began to develop, I was told to lay low by my brother and sister-in-law. That Gerald wouldn’t do something so stupid. My son asked me not to rock the boat because they had invested a pretty penny in Turtle Beach Cafe. But that time has passed now. My life has been ruined by my association with these people and I didn’t need it from the get-go. If it was just me, I don’t know what my reaction would be quite frankly. But the way my brother and my son have been treated. I have no choice but to respond.
Until the events described began, I had no idea these people were who they were. I have been in their homes, broken bread with them. I have known this family for decades. Or at least I thought I did. I put this video together at the beginning of the summer. Since then, some other things have happened I think directly relate. There have been other businesses within the
Blue surf project that evidently there’s no problem with them being sold. I wish these people have been upfront at the beginning. I did not need any of this.
