With $8 billion in SNAP benefits being halted, my heart is breaking for the community members who rely on assistance to feed their families.

This isn’t just about Thanksgiving, either. It’s about everyday meals, too. Lunch boxes. Dinner tables. The simple comfort of knowing there’s enough. Families everywhere are being forced to stretch less food further than ever before.

Here are a few ways we can help together:

🖤 Donate or Volunteer
Food pantries are working tirelessly right now. If you’re able, they could truly use both extra funds and helping hands.

🖤 Fill a Blessing Box
When you’re out shopping, grab an extra canned or boxed item to add to a local Blessing Box. Little things go a long way.

🖤 Pay It Forward
When picking up your BFFS treats, consider adding a few extra dollars to your total. Those funds will go toward providing meal kits for local families in need.

🖤 Nominate a Family
Know someone quietly struggling? Message me privately and I’ll make sure they get what they need, no questions asked.

🖤 Spread the Word
If you see a resource that could help someone out, share it!
So many families face food insecurity behind closed doors. Our neighbors, friends, and relatives included.
