Hey Folks, I am posting this on behalf of my friend and customer Dave Spiller. Dave has a window washing business he runs with his sons and has helped me at the shop with my windows and doors. Is January 2026, his daughter Jillian was diagnosed with stage 4 Angio-Sarcoma. Shes been through 12 rounds of chemotherapy and has been asked to be one the models at the "Ella Bella fashion show on october 23rd. This fashion show benefits "Bringing hope home.” They raise money to give financial help to the families fighting cancer. If you’ve been to my shop you have seen our tribute to Erik who we lost last year also to cancer. When Dave told me about his daughter and how he helps “Bringing Hope Home” we here at the BBQ want to help in anyway we can. I’m posting a link to Jillian’s modeling fundraising page if you would be interested in helping us raise money for this great cause.

Yesterday was a beautiful day catering for the Agnes Irwin Schools Back to School celebration! We had pork, chicken, smoked salmon, mac and cheese, beans, smoked portabella mushroom caps, coleslaw and our new potato salad. Fun night and beautiful weather!

Just want to give a very heartfelt “Thank You” to everyone for your well wishes on my birthday yesterday. I got so many calls, texts and hugs (and a happy bday song on my vm from my mom❤️) yesterday that I could feel the love all the way from Texas to PA. Very special thanks to Lisa for improvising my mom’s bday cake using chocolate donuts (friggin’ delicious!) and my great friends JB and Brid for opening their home for a birthday get together. Thank you to everyone for coming to join me on my bday and I’m kind of thinking I’m digging being 54!!! ❤️😂

A young man came by my shop a month or so ago asking if he could put a sign in front of the shop for his mobile detailing business. He knows my son Jake and I said “of course!” Gotta love 20 year old entrepreneurs! I asked if he could restore the front of my jeep and he said “absolutely” and he came yesterday and did a fantastic job! I have his cards at the shop if anyone is interested!
