It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of my beloved mother, Susie Tuzzi.
For so many years, my Mom stood alongside my Dad as third-generation owners of Tuzzi Baking Co., carrying on a family tradition that was so much more than just a business. It was their life, their pride, and a piece of their hearts.
Together, they dedicated countless hours, made endless sacrifices, and poured their hearts and souls into keeping our family’s legacy alive. The bakery was never just about bread or pizza. It was about family, tradition, hard work, and the wonderful community that became such an important part of their lives.
When we lost my Dad a few years ago, a piece of our family was forever changed. And now, with the passing of my Mom, we feel that loss all over again. While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing they are finally reunited, along with our beloved Angelo. ❤️
To our loyal customers, many of whom have become like family over the generations, thank you for being part of their story. Your kindness, friendships, and unwavering support meant more to Mom and Dad than you will ever know.
We also want to recognize our wonderful employees, past and present, who have been such an important part of the Tuzzi family. Mom and Dad understood that the heart of the bakery was not only the family behind it, but also the dedicated people who showed up each day and helped make it what it is today. Through the years, so many of you have given your time, loyalty, and hard work to our family business. You have shared in our traditions, become part of our story, and helped carry on a legacy that means so much to us. For that, we will always be grateful.
As we continue the tradition Mom and Dad worked so hard to preserve, we will carry their love, their lessons, and their legacy with us every single day. We hope to make them proud by continuing what they dedicated so much of their lives to building.
Mom and Dad, the ovens will keep baking, the doors will keep opening, and the family tradition will continue. But Tuzzi Baking Co. will never be quite the same without you.
Rest peacefully, Mom. Give Dad and Angelo a hug from all of us. Until we meet again. 💙
