Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Today I'm thankful to be a father, and thankful for the all the fathers in my life: My own dad, my father in law, my Irish grandfather and this man my Armenian grandfather. The son of a genocide survivor and grandson of a martyr in the Armenian genocide. All these men have made me the man I am today. And though my grandfathers are no longer here I know both of them are guiding me whenever I'm behind the grill.

Arayes w/ Shirazi Salad.
It's been way too long since the last time I posted a dinner pic! Arayes are a Lebanese dish of grilled pitas stuffed with spiced ground meat. Perfectly paired with a side of Shirazi Salad. These are quickly becoming one of my favorite quick dinners to whip up!

Okay, let's talk about the real magic of my Khorovats Dry Rub! Not only is it bursting with flavor, but it's also loaded with amazing, healthy, ingredients. Sumac for immune support, Parsley for bone health, Fenugreek for digestion, and Aleppo pepper for a vitamin kick! Who knew delicious could be so good for you?
