When I opened Goldfinch.Cafe, I had one dream: to make the best cup of coffee you'd ever had, and to make you feel like you were visiting a friend, not a store.

I never imagined that 138 of you would take the time to write about it. That you'd call it a "hidden gem," a "community hub," a "treasure." That some of you would drive 26 miles round trip because your kids called it the "cookie cafe."

Goldfinch is temporarily closed now, and I won't lie — every one of these reviews makes me both proud and a little heartbroken. But what we built together — the conversations over cortados, the Saturday mornings with kids playing card games, the coffee education that turned into friendships — that doesn't close.

He looks lonely — like he’s been waiting decades for someone to notice him again.

🔥☕ Ever wondered why your moka pot sounds like a tiny steam engine about to explode?

Here’s the deal:
• Heat builds steam → steam builds pressure → pressure bullies water through coffee grounds → BOOM, liquid happiness flows up top.
• It’s not magic, it’s physics… but honestly, it feels like black magic at 7am.

Basically: the moka pot is the Italian way of saying “good morning, here’s your coffee, now stop crying.” 🇮🇹
