“Unclean” grew out of reading Mark 7:20–23, where Jesus talks about the things that come from within our hearts. We took that list and worked it into a song, with a simple prayer: “Wash what only You can see.”

Some of the words are blunt and may step on a few toes—including mine! Please hear the heart behind it. I’m examining my own heart first. I need His grace and cleansing just as much as anybody.

My hope is that you’ll listen with that in mind and let it become your own prayer. Lord, help us see what You see, and change us from the inside out. ❤️
