In honor of Dolly Parton, the Snow Hill Branch is displaying this sign outside its temporary location. A music icon and passionate advocate for literacy, Dolly shared her love of reading through her Imagination Library, helping provide hundreds of millions of books to children across the United States.

We’ll remember Dolly not only for her music, books, and beauty, but for the lasting impact she made on children, families, and libraries everywhere. Her work and legacy will continue to inspire us for generations to come ❤️📚
