A Message From Hole in the Wall
To the Beresford community, our surrounding communities, and everyone we've had the pleasure of serving,
After much thought and consideration, we've made the difficult decision to close Hole in the Wall. Our final day of operation will be Monday, October 26, 2026.
Since opening in August 2024, our family has dedicated an incredible amount of time and effort to making this restaurant successful. We've worked six and seven days a week, doing everything we could to help not only our restaurant, but the entire Truck Towne location succeed. We've always tried to represent and care for this location as though it were our own.
Unfortunately, the growth we originally hoped to see at this location hasn't materialized quite as we anticipated. Along with ongoing facility challenges and difficulties maintaining the staffing necessary to operate successfully, the demands of running the restaurant have required significant sacrifices from our family. After more than two years of giving this business our full effort, we've made the decision that continuing under these circumstances is no longer what's best for us. We want to be clear that this is a decision we're making voluntarily, not one we're being forced to make.
We also reached an agreement with Truck Towne to keep Hole in the Wall open long enough to allow them time to find a new restaurant operator. We're hopeful that another restaurant will open relatively soon after our closing, allowing the community to continue having a place to eat at this location. We sincerely wish the next business success.
We want to give a special thank you to all the employees who have been part of our journey. We're especially grateful to those who have remained dedicated to us through the very end, as well as those who had planned to return after college or military service. Your loyalty, hard work, and willingness to be there when we needed you have meant more to our family than you may realize. We're truly grateful for everything you've contributed to Hole in the Wall.
To our customers, whether you're from Beresford, our neighboring communities, or simply passing through, we can't thank you enough for your support. The kind words, encouragement, and positive feedback we've received have been truly humbling. It's been a pleasure serving you, and we're incredibly grateful for the friendships and memories we've made along the way.
Although our time at Hole in the Wall is coming to an end, we're looking forward to continuing our journey at County Line, our bar located on the west end of the Truck Towne truck stop here in Beresford! With our family now able to dedicate more time and energy to County Line, we're excited to bring even more entertainment, events, and opportunities for our community to come together and have a great time.
County Line is open daily at 2 PM, with doors opening early at 11 AM every NFL Sunday! We'd love for you to join us for football, drinks, and good times with friends. We have plenty of exciting ideas and plans for the future, so stay tuned for upcoming changes, events, and announcements!
As we prepare to close this chapter, it's difficult to put into words what these past two years have meant to our family. We've poured so much of ourselves into Hole in the Wall, but what we'll remember most are the people, the friendships, and the memories we've made along the way. The kindness and support we've received have meant more to us than we could ever fully express.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, supported our family, or simply wished us well, thank you for being part of our journey. We hope to see many of you one last time before we close our doors on October 26.
