If you’ve ever visited us, you know that we are a pub family. One of our own needs our help right now.

Abe Sparks, husband of our partner and general manager, Billie, experienced a stroke on August 11th. He has a long road to recovery and friends have created a GoFund Me to help with medical expenses.

The First Seat is as Bentonville as it gets and Billie and Abe are true Bentonvilleians. Billie takes care of everyone who walks in these doors. Let’s give her and Abe the help they need in this difficult time.

Thanks for everyone’s patience with our mess this week! We’re getting the restaurant put back together and will reopen for lunch service tomorrow (7/11) at 11am.

Happy 250th Birthday, America!

We will be closed for Independence Day and a little more for some routine maintenance. Our sister bar, Barley & Vine, will remain open during our extended closure.

We are closed today in observance of a special day for our mothers and to permit our staff to celebrate the mothers in their lives.

As a Bartender, you’ll craft high-quality drinks, engage with guests, and keep the bar running smoothly. This position will also act as the manager on duty. Extended knowledge of craft beer and wine is a preferred requirement.

Hey hey, it's Opening Day! You know what that means, Bentonville. Your choice of a hot dog, chili dog or a Chicago dog with a bag of chips available all day while supplies last. And of course, $1.50 Old Styles of which we have plenty.

Today we also introduce malört, a Wrigleyville tradition we discovered years ago at the G-Man Tavern outside Wrigley. Order a Chicago Handshake, a shot of malört and an Old Style for $6.50.
