This is a sad, but typical example of poor governance and media. Reminds me of Covid hysteria. Yes. It’s real. What’s the source? Who knows? Unfortunately, the government has no clue as usual. They don’t know the source. They reported it came from Taco Bell. Then report Taylor Farms is the source. Then the media runs with it and spreads the story. The next day, OOPS, it was a false positive. Now we have an article listing all the places to which the company sells lettuce with one sentence stating the fact about the report being WRONG. They don’t even know FOR CERTAIN where it’s coming from or if it’s even lettuce.
We are unfortunately not serving ANY LETTUCE just in case the government’s GUESS is correct. Your safety is our priority and responsibility. We will continue to follow all their guidelines and guesses moving forward.
Taylor Farms produces much of the lettuce sold in America’s supermarkets and fast food restaurants. Many consumers would like to know which ones.
