We had the dessert table at today’s Bennington Chamber Lunch and Learn. Scratch-made cookie bars and mini chocolate muffins, fresh out of our kitchen this morning.

Yesterday we sent out a catering order with fresh fruit. This morning, 50 breakfast sandwiches & burritos for another. Both went out on time and without a hitch, and that’s because Nikole came in extra early to make sure they did.

That’s the kind of person running our kitchen. We’re lucky to have her.

Those newborn snuggles are everything. And total mom life: a brand new baby on my chest and a toddler camped out between my feet.
