Sometimes being wildly grateful looks a little like being wildly in the weeds.

We’ve been BUSY, Bend!
Filled seats, nonstop tickets and so many beautiful plates leaving our kitchen. We may not actually break into interpretive dance when the kitchen gets backed up, but will we joke with you, giggle a little and keep the good vibes going? 100%.

And while we’re out front laughing with you, our kitchen crew is working their tails off in a space that can easily be 30+ degrees hotter than the temperature outside, making every one of those plates happen.

So let’s give our kitchen some love. If you’ve dined with us, drop your favorite Rosemary and Fox dish in the comments so our kitchen crew can see what all that heat, hustle and hard work is creating.

WE’RE GROWING OUR FOX FAMILY.

Rosemary & Fox is hiring for both Front of House + Back of House, and we’re looking for people who genuinely love hospitality, food, and being part of a team.

• FOH applicants with Sommelier Level 1 or 2 certification are a definite plus!

Rosemary & Fox is a locally owned French-American fine dining restaurant led by Bend local, Owner + Head Chef Josh Podwils. Our menus are rooted in the seasons, with a focus on sourcing from local farms, Pacific Northwest producers and wineries whenever possible.

But experience and a great résumé are only part of it.

You’re a team player. You work hard, jump in when someone needs you, and care about the experience we create together. You love food, you love talking about food, and you understand that hospitality is about so much more than putting a plate on a table.

So hear us out…

You’re craving a night out. A really good cocktail. Incredible food. A place that feels elevated without feeling stuffy—where you can settle in, enjoy the people you’re with, share a few laughs, order another round, and somehow realize you’ve been at the table for two hours.

Yeah. We know a place.

Welcome to Rosemary & Fox.

We’re all about creating the kind of meal you remember.

Seasonal ingredients. French-American inspiration. Familiar flavors taken somewhere a little more interesting. Dishes that make the table go completely silent for a second because everyone is too busy taking that first bite… followed immediately by, “Okay, you HAVE to try this.”

It’s the crispy, salty bite you keep reaching across the table for. The sauce you’re absolutely dragging the last piece of bread through. The cocktail that makes you stop mid-conversation and ask what’s in it. The dish you randomly think about three days later and decide you need again.

Because dinner should be more than checking “where should we eat?” off the list.

It should feel warm. Welcoming. Elevated. A little indulgent. A little playful. And really, really delicious.

No big deal… we just took 2ND PLACE for BEST NEW RESTAURANT in Central Oregon with the Source after being open for only FIVE MONTHS!!!

What an absolute honor.

Five months of creating, learning, growing, welcoming you through our doors, and getting to share what Rosemary & Fox is all about. To already be recognized alongside some incredible Central Oregon restaurants means more to us than we can say.

We’re just getting started, friends. 🦊

We’re French-American cuisine in the heart of downtown Bend, Oregon, but for us, it’s about so much more than what’s on the plate.

Our menus move with the seasons, giving us the opportunity to play with ingredients that are local, regional, and at their best right now. We believe some of the most memorable food comes from simplicity, beautiful ingredients, thoughtful technique, and bold flavors that don’t need to be overcomplicated.

Our Quail & Sweet Potato brings all the cozy, savory goodness to one plate, roasted quail with a sausage, blueberry & goat cheese stuffing, sautéed spinach, and silky sweet potato purée.

Savory, subtly sweet, rich without being heavy. She’s a little fancy, a little unexpected, and exactly the kind of dish that makes you slow down and enjoy dinner.

Rosemary & Fox is your downtown Bend destination for French-American cuisine with a Pacific Northwest heart.

Our seasonal menus are thoughtfully created around fresh ingredients, local farms, and incredible regional producers, including Never Never Farm and other local businesses we’re proud to support.

Pair dinner with an upscale handcrafted cocktail, a refreshing zero-proof creation, or a beautiful Pacific Northwest wine.

We’re locally owned right here in Bend, with our owner and Executive Chef at the heart of the kitchen, creating food meant to be shared, celebrated, and remembered.

And then there’s our courtyard…

We’re fairly convinced there’s some kind of magical vortex happening back there. Tucked away in the heart of downtown Bend, our private courtyard feels like a cozy little secret garden and somehow, even during smoky Central Oregon days, it tends to stay surprisingly clear and comfortable.

Monday Aug 3rd we’re celebrating someone pretty special… Happy Birthday to our incredible Sous Chef, Scotty!

For over 12 years, Scotty and Chef Josh have worked side by side in multiple kitchens, and if you’ve ever wondered what the perfect culinary duo looks like… this is it.

They’re like butter and bread, salt and pepper, fire and smoke, each great on their own, but together they create something even better.

Scotty is one of the hardest-working, kindest humans you’ll ever meet. His passion, talent, creativity, and dedication help keep our kitchen running smoothly every single day. He has an incredible ability to elevate not only the food but the entire team around him.

We’re beyond grateful to have him as part of the Rosemary & Fox family.
