What an unbelievable couple of weeks. ❤️🍕
From the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival to Oglebay Fest, we have just come off two absolutely incredible, record-breaking weekends — and we are still trying to wrap our heads around it.
The beautiful weather, the crowds, the familiar faces, the new faces, the people standing in line waiting for pizza… every bit of it meant more to us than you probably realize.
We say it all the time, but we truly mean it: we would not be here without all of you. You have embraced our business, our pizza, and our loud, slightly crazy Italian family for TEN YEARS now… and somehow you keep coming back. 😂🇮🇹
When you support a family-owned business like ours, every single pizza matters. Every order matters. Every share, every recommendation, every person who tells a friend, “You HAVE to try their pizza,” matters.
You’re not supporting some giant corporation. You’re supporting a family who argues, laughs, works too many hours, probably yells across the trailer more than we should, and still shows up together to sling pizza. 😂🍕
And to our family and everyone who worked alongside us these past two weekends — THANK YOU. These weekends take an army, and thankfully ours is loud, loyal, caffeinated, and apparently willing to put up with us. 😂
We are incredibly grateful, completely exhausted, and pretty damn proud of what this little pizza business has become.

Apparently after 10 years of hauling ovens, slinging pizzas, feeding half the Ohio Valley and occasionally questioning all of our life choices 😂… you wonderful people went and nominated THE Wood Fired Pizza Company for:

And we’re not gonna lie… that feels pretty damn good.
There are SO many incredible pizza places and food trucks in this valley, and we’re genuinely honored just to have our name sitting beside theirs.
But since we’re on the ballot… well… we might as well try to win the damn thing. 😂🇮🇹
So if you’ve ever chased down the truck, waited in one of our crazy lines, booked us for an event, grabbed one of Nana’s pepperoni rolls, or eaten a pizza and thought, “Okay… these Italians know what they’re doing”…
