Some blends are more than just coffee—they tell a story.

Meet Wildflower Blend 🌿☕️

This blend is especially close to my heart because it’s inspired by my two girls. Just like wildflowers, each of them is beautifully unique, growing in their own way and adding so much joy to my life.

We paired Rwanda and Guatemala to create a cup that’s smooth, balanced, and full of character. You’ll find rich chocolate undertones from the Guatemala, beautifully complemented by the bright, fruity notes of the Rwanda. It’s the perfect harmony of sweetness and vibrancy in every sip.

From our family to yours, I hope you love Wildflower Blend as much as we do. ❤️

Freshly roasted and available now at Raising Roots Coffee -in store, soon to be online!

Now available in store and online — Rwanda ☕️

With beautiful undertones of plum, berry, and grape, this coffee has such a smooth body with a light fruity finish.

Many of you know that one of my all-time favorite coffees was Mapendo from Congo. Unfortunately, with the ongoing fighting in the region, many coffee fields have been destroyed and we are currently unable to source those beans. My heart truly goes out to the people there — please keep Congo in your prayers.

Because of that, we went on a search to find coffees with a similar profile, and Rwanda coffees have been the closest match we’ve found. This is the first of a few we’ll be bringing in, and I’m really excited about it.

It shines beautifully as a light roast with its fruity notes, but we’ll also be offering it in a medium roast in store, which is another great option. If you’re ordering online, you can choose any roast level you prefer.

I can’t wait for you all to try this one. It’s a really special cup. ☕️

The art of roasting.

It’s something I never get tired of.

Coffee roasting is both science and instinct — structure and creativity — and that balance is what makes it so special to me. It’s a craft that’s always evolving, yet rooted in something timeless. No matter how many batches I roast, it never feels finished. And I love that.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still paying attention.
Every origin teaches me something new — how elevation, soil, climate, and processing shape flavor in ways you can’t rush or force. The same roast on a different bean tells a completely different story.

Roasting is a slow process. It requires patience, intention, and respect for the bean. You listen, you adjust, you trust experience — and sometimes you’re reminded that there’s always more to learn.

That’s the beauty of it.
New beans from new places. Subtle changes. Small refinements.
Always chasing balance, clarity, and the best expression of what that coffee was meant to be.

It’s not about perfection.
It’s about the process — and loving it enough to keep showing up, batch after batch.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Raising Roots Coffee

Today we’re counting our blessings… and this little coffee business is one of mine. What started as a simple passion for good beans and meaningful moments has grown into something I’m incredibly grateful for. Every bag you take home, every cup you brew, every message telling me how much you enjoy a roast—those things encourage me more than you know.

Thank you for supporting a small, family-run roastery. Thank you for choosing fresh, local coffee. Thank you for cheering us on as we learn, grow, and pour our hearts into every batch. It’s an honor to be part of your mornings, your quiet moments, your traditions, and even your holiday gatherings.

From our family to yours, may your day be filled with warmth, gratitude, and a good cup of coffee.
Happy Thanksgiving. 🤎☕️

Cold days, warm coffee — always a good combo. No matter the season, coffee just hits right. I haven’t posted in a bit, but I’m still here roasting up the good stuff… and honestly, a little coffee for the cold is always a good idea.

From the moment green coffee arrives at our roastery, it begins a journey of transformation. With just the right balance of heat and time, each batch develops its own depth, aroma, and flavor — unique and full of character, just like the people who enjoy it.

At Raising Roots Coffee, roasting isn’t just a process, it’s a passion. It’s where stories come alive in every cup you pour. 🌱☕
