Now available in store and online — Rwanda ☕️

With beautiful undertones of plum, berry, and grape, this coffee has such a smooth body with a light fruity finish.

Many of you know that one of my all-time favorite coffees was Mapendo from Congo. Unfortunately, with the ongoing fighting in the region, many coffee fields have been destroyed and we are currently unable to source those beans. My heart truly goes out to the people there — please keep Congo in your prayers.

Because of that, we went on a search to find coffees with a similar profile, and Rwanda coffees have been the closest match we’ve found. This is the first of a few we’ll be bringing in, and I’m really excited about it.

It shines beautifully as a light roast with its fruity notes, but we’ll also be offering it in a medium roast in store, which is another great option. If you’re ordering online, you can choose any roast level you prefer.

I can’t wait for you all to try this one. It’s a really special cup. ☕️

The art of roasting.

It’s something I never get tired of.

Coffee roasting is both science and instinct — structure and creativity — and that balance is what makes it so special to me. It’s a craft that’s always evolving, yet rooted in something timeless. No matter how many batches I roast, it never feels finished. And I love that.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still paying attention.
Every origin teaches me something new — how elevation, soil, climate, and processing shape flavor in ways you can’t rush or force. The same roast on a different bean tells a completely different story.

Roasting is a slow process. It requires patience, intention, and respect for the bean. You listen, you adjust, you trust experience — and sometimes you’re reminded that there’s always more to learn.

That’s the beauty of it.
New beans from new places. Subtle changes. Small refinements.
Always chasing balance, clarity, and the best expression of what that coffee was meant to be.

It’s not about perfection.
It’s about the process — and loving it enough to keep showing up, batch after batch.

Behind every great bag of coffee is a process full of intention. From the trier to the cooler, every part of the machine plays a role in developing flavor.

The cooler stops the roast at just the right moment.
The drum rotates the beans while heat is applied from below.
The temperature gauge helps us maintain consistency.
And the trier lets us check the roast in real time.

It’s a balance of heat, airflow, timing, and experience—all working together to bring out the best in each batch
