A lot of people know us as the “wine and cheese shop,” but with so many new followers here lately, we thought it might be a good time to introduce ourselves and share a little more about who we are and how Vine & Rind came to be ❤️🍷🧀

Marc and I moved here from San Francisco in 2023 looking for a slower pace of life and the chance to be closer to family ✨ We quickly fell in love with Bellevue and Dayton — the charm, the community, the walkability, and especially Fairfield Ave with all of its wonderful small businesses and neighborhood feel 🏡🌿 Being so close to Cincinnati felt like the perfect balance for us.

We’ve always loved cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together through food 🍽️❤️ While neither of us has formal culinary training, everything we make comes from years of learning, experimenting, hosting friends and family, and simply loving good food. Every sandwich, soup, board, dip, dessert, and special is made with care and a whole lot of heart 🥖🍲🧁🫒

When this space became available, we saw an opportunity to create something special — not just for ourselves, but for the community around us ✨

Vine & Rind is more than wine and cheese 🍷🧀 Alongside our boards and pairings, we’ve curated a shop filled with artisan cheeses, charcuterie, olive oils, vinegars, jams, mustards, chocolates, crackers, snacks, and specialty finds we genuinely love sharing with others 🫐🍯🥖🍫

We also offer catering, host private gatherings and celebrations, and serve simple, comforting food designed to pair beautifully with a glass of wine 🥂✨

At the heart of everything we do is bringing people together — through food, wine, conversation, and community ❤️

A monthly artisan cheese experience featuring curated cheeses and thoughtful pairings to enjoy at home, gift to someone special, or bring to your next gathering.

Possible options could include:
✨ Petite Pairing Box – $30
✨ Classic Cheese Box – $40
✨ Cheese + Charcuterie Box – $50
✨ Deluxe Boxes – up to $80

Each box may include:
• Artisan cheeses
• Crackers
• Jams, mustard & honey pairings
• House-made black pepper almonds or maple rosemary cashew brittle

Optional add-ons:

🥗✨ Salad season is here at Vine & Rind ✨🥗

One of this weeks specials is our take on the Parisienne Salad — featuring the best the garden has to offer. Fingerling potatoes, thinly sliced sugar snap peas, crisp green beans, cherry tomatoes, a jammy egg, delicate ribbons of ham, Gruyère cheese, capers and mixed greens, all tossed in our house shallot Dijon vinaigrette. 🌿🍅🥚

Even better? Pair it with a cup of our rich, comforting garlic soup for the perfect lunch combination. 🍲🍷

There’s something so special about celebrating life’s biggest moments in a small, intimate space surrounded by good food, good wine, and the people you love most. 🤍

Last week we had the honor of hosting a beautiful wedding shower for a sweet bride-to-be at Vine & Rind. The family was searching for a relaxed happy hour experience in a cozy setting where they could support local businesses and gather together in a meaningful way — and we were so grateful to be part of it.

Guests enjoyed a grazing table filled with charcuterie, artisanal cheeses, fresh fruit, and seasonal accompaniments, along with our signature bread service featuring focaccia and Tuscan dipping oil. We also served hot honey whipped ricotta, caprese skewers, crudité with garlic hummus and green goddess dip, plus non-alcoholic refreshments for everyone to enjoy and served glasses of wine that were specially chosen from our distributor for this occasion🍷✨

Thank you for choosing our tiny shop on the corner to celebrate such a special season of life. We love creating intimate gatherings that bring people together around the table.

Our Wine & Cheese Pairing Classes are officially here — and we’re kicking things off with a special evening featuring the wines of France’s Loire Valley at Vine & Rind.

✨ Two seatings available:
📅 Saturday, May 16
⏰ 2 PM & 6 PM
⏳ Each class is approximately 1 hour
Your experience includes:
🍷 Six 2 oz wine tastings

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mom, to my sweet children who made me a mother, and to all of the incredible mothers everywhere today. 💐

Motherhood is exhausting, beautiful, messy, emotional, rewarding, and filled with so much love all at once. Today I’m feeling especially grateful for the women who shaped me, supported me, and taught me how to love fiercely and care deeply.

To my mom — thank you for your unconditional love, strength, sacrifices, and for always being my safe place. I wouldn’t be who I am without you.

To my children — thank you for giving my life its greatest purpose and joy. Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive.

And to every mother, grandmother, stepmom, mother figure, and woman nurturing others with love every day — today we celebrate you. 🤍
