A little update from The DRIP + Audrey ☕️🤎
If you’ve been following along, you know we had really hoped to be moving into a storefront around this time, with the goal of having our grand opening before the new year… We had a location we truly believed was going to be our next step, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out the way we had hoped. It was completely out of our control, and while it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, we’re choosing to keep moving forward.
So, we’re back on the hunt for the right place. We’re EAGER to make that next big move, but we’re also willing to take our time and make sure we find the right fit for The DRIP.
The reason behind it all… My passion has always been serving quality coffee, building genuine relationships, and becoming more than just a coffee stop. I want The DRIP to be a place where people know your name, you become friends with your baristas, and you can hang out, and feel at home. That’s what I want to build. 🤎 I started The DRIP at age 17. I’m now 19 years old, and over the last two years, I’ve put every dollar, every hour, every ounce of energy and so much of my heart and soul into this business. I’ve made sacrifices, stepped away from college, and chosen to pour everything I have into building something I believe in. There have been moments where I’ve felt underestimated or not taken seriously simply because of my age. Constantly having to prove myself can be hard and while this is extremely defeating these experiences have made me stronger and more confident. We have CRUSHED some serious goals and hit new milestones this year!!! We are more determined than ever to keep building on something that speaks for itself.
We are ready for a big move. We’re ready for the next chapter. And more than anything, we’re ready to continue growing with the support of the people who have believed in The DRIP from the very beginning!🥹
If you know of a storefront or space that could be a good fit, we’re keeping our eyes and ears open. Ideally, we’d love to keep our trailer operating for as long as possible. If that means we aren’t in a traditional storefront by next summer, we have other ideas… including parking the trailer inside an indoor space and creating a cozy café-style sitting area around it. We’re not putting a deadline on the dream; we’re just figuring out what the next version of The DRIP looks like.
We may not know exactly what the next chapter looks like yet, but we know we’re not done dreaming. ☕️💪🏽😊
