What can I say…
I hope it’s not too L-8,
Bc it’s now after midnight but that’s just f-8,
I am a numerical freak,
But this last poem on Facebook I must speak.
Everyone has signs
Breaking their minds,
Do this don’t do that-
Can’t you see the signs.
But today (Friday) marks 28,
That’s 28 Days until Sweet Tea Mae,
reveals something pretty gr-8.
And this necklace with a frenchy kind of history,
has my new address 28,
Which means a lot to me, because there was a time I didn’t believe there was anything after 7,
But all the signs were right there in front of me.
It started with my signs of distress,
But in true sign fashion,
Someone from my 4ever 7 family sensed my depression
And just like that there was my next sign.
My friend Ash showed up right there on South High.
And she showed me to my face,
That hey 7 was gr-8,
But you know what comes after 7 Stephanie Mae?
EIGHT!!!
And I realized I was standing right around the corner from my life’s next sign.
The place I opened up for Besse,
Which at times trust me was kind of messy,
But with a Tony a Gusti,
And the best OG 7 Family 4 Lifers,
we introduced all of Belleville to sweet delicious sushi.
Yummy as Belleville eventually came to see.

Bueller Bueller,
Like a great 80’s movie quote,
I became totally woke.
I was standing in front of my next sign,
28!!!
Which is better than just 8,
it’s 2-8’s.
Just like what’s better than aGain?
28- Gains 🫶🏼
So my sign was 7 is never the end,
8 will always be there after 7.
It’s math yo,
It’s a total fact.
And who knows what will come after that.
But back to many signs later,
This necklace in this picture is my point of my sign story.
This necklace will be worn by me as I start my journey of 28.
And what makes this necklace so gr-8,
Why I got to buy it from my neighbor and Friend Christine,
You May of heard of her,
She’s the sparkle behind Blanquart's Rusty Gem.
And today another sign,
I went for my daily neighborly visit and I met the artist that made this sign.
And people have been noticing the sign I now wear everywhere.
Like all the other great people that have been around me this whole time- they are all very important signs,
There’s too many to name but a few of my people signs that I’m so very grateful-8-ful to open my new place at 28…
We will keep it short and sweet,
But please meet some of my friends located on Belleville’s sweetest corner and street…
There’s Amber at Sugar High and all of her awesome crew and her husband Chris who is one cool dude.
Next we Escape,
to a good use of 61-8,
and we meet the man
who always has a plan,
and puts all that he can,
So we all can get to know,
What Tyler’s imagination has in store.
And soon not to be our Newest New Kid on our Block,
Nicolas Velasco,
Is all you need to know-

Day by day.
Next you cross the Street and head to where the old time movie music plays without ever missing a beat,
The couple who owns that black haired beauty with big Blue eyes,
You find Sandy and Dave Schoenborn with no surprise,
The owners of the most fabulous historical movie theater around,
Plus their daughter Sydney who’s currently out of town,
They own Abe's & Lincoln,
Finally before you go of sneaking- I come to one final shout out,
Who we find just a tad bit away from our sweet little route,
You’ll find another great gal Who quickly became a really gr-8 pal.
So be sure to get on down to Charlie’s Place,
But you’ll find that the face
Behind the name is the wonderful woman who we all know as Barb.
So for all of you that suffered through my grade school poetry slamming skills,
The point is to announce something with all the thrills and chills:
