On Friday, July 17th, our sweet Daddy, Husband, Poppa and friend, Arlen Wood, peacefully gained his wings.
There are no words that can express the sadness we feel, but we are so incredibly grateful for the time we were blessed to have with him. He could fix just about anything, was always willing to lend a helping hand, and loved his family with his whole heart. He taught us what hard work, kindness, strength, and unconditional love looked like.
While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and is finally at peace.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family, checked on us, and surrounded us with love during this difficult journey. Every message, hug, and prayer has meant more than you'll ever know.
He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and lessons that we will cherish forever. We will miss him more than words can say, but we know this is not goodbye forever..
