Bonfatto's is a third generation 100 year old family business. Guy and Pauline Bonfatto started it all on August 15, 1919 in downtown Bellefonte as a grocery and home delivery business. In 1958 John Bonfatto invented our famous Bonanza Sub Sandwich, which today is still a mainstay of the business. After a tragic car accident in January 1960, Francis and John Bonfatto (brothers), helped their mother - Pauline with the day to day operation of the business and eventually took over the operation and added take-out and sit-down meals as well as a full-service bar. In 1990, grandson David Letterman (son of Rose Bonfatto) joined the business. In 1999 David and his Wife Sherri bought the business and a year later opened a full-service 140 seat restaurant and lounge in November 2000. David had always envisioned a smaller Italian Market. The two renovated a historical building and moved their business back downtown Bellefonte as Bonfatto's Italian Market and Corner Cafe.

Our spookiest show of the year has a new haunt! This year, the Bizarre Bazaar is moving to Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte.

We've lined up 80+ of the region's most spooktacular makers, live music from Anchor&Arrow and The Clearys (Mare Cleary Music), six local food trucks, and sips from the . It all adds up to a hauntingly good time, and it's free to attend.

We hope to see you on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

One of our favorite Bellefonte Victorian Christmas traditions is celebrating its 5th year... the Cookie Crawl is back!

Consider this your invitation to get a little cookie-crazy. Our collectible tins are making their return, ready to be filled with sweet treats as you stroll through downtown Bellefonte. Whether you're in it for the cookies, the festive shopping or the keepsake tin, there's plenty to look forward to. 🍪

Sale details, including pricing and pickup locations, will be shared on our website and Facebook. Additional tins will also be available for those who'd love a collectible but can't join the crawl. Keep an eye out for more details coming soon!
