The Houston Weekly Bluegrass Jam will be in session this evening (December 4, 2024) for the first time at our new location, the Hickory Pit BBQ restaurant at 6601 S Rice Ave, Bellaire, TX 77401. Every Wednesday from 6pm to 8:30 we'll be playing bluegrass music and the public is encouraged come on out and enjoy some great BBQ and listen to some serious pickin'. We now have permission to park in the parking garage just across the alley from the restaurant. Please try to attend this evening or any Wednesday. Come play, come listen, it's all good!

The Houston Weekly Bluegrass Jam will now be held, every Wednesday at the Hickory Pit BBQ restaurant at 6601 S Rice Ave, Bellaire, TX 77401. We start there on December 4, 2024. The Jam goes from 6pm to 8:30, every Wednesday. Great BBQ and bluegrass music!

We may have a new location for the Houston Weekly Bluegrass Jam! I'm working on it and we are almost to the point of finalizing the deal. I'll announce it soon. It is very close to the Buffalo Grille and the restaurant serves some killer BBQ! Stay tuned bluegrass lovers!

Howdy Houston area friends and Buffalo Grille Jam pickers, There will be changes soon. Buffalo Grille will be closed in the evenings for remodeling for the next few weeks. It does not look like there will be Jamming there any longer. We are searching for a new location at this time. We tried a bar once and that is a definite no unless the business makes most of their revenue from food sales.. Our fans are more oriented towards a restaurant atmosphere, especially BBQ or home style cooking. Pizza places might be good also. The room needs to have a side area or be big enough where we don't take up too much space. Anyway, we connected to the Buffalo Grille form a tip from a friend. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks
