Good morning! Be sure to join us for our second week of our Bakehouse Breakfast. We have a plentiful menu full of delicious fresh baked goods. Varying from our breads to our pastries! Our menu also features many dishes using 100% local farm fresh eggs! From savory, varying frittatas to breakfast sandwiches using the breads from our Upper Kitchen. If you're out and about this morning, stop by the Bedford Farmer's Market and say hello! We'll have a table full of fresh baked products from our Upper Kitchen Bakery, including homemade breads, delicious scones, pastries, and more.
There's always something about fresh baked goods to start off your morning!
We'll also be at the Cumberland Farmer's Market on Thursday morning, so you'll have another chance to stock up on your bakery favorites there as well.

Meet one of the people behind Upper Kitchen. ❤️

Some people don’t just learn a craft- they seem built for it!!

When she joined Upper Kitchen, she didn’t come empty-handed. She brought a lifetime of curiosity, creativity, and a love for making things. From crafting cheese and tending gardens to planning beautiful celebrations, she’s always been drawn to old-fashioned skills and the joy of creating something meaningful by hand.

She has the same kind of energy that defines Upper Kitchen… a genuine love of the craft, a relentless desire to keep learning, and the enthusiasm to throw herself wholeheartedly into whatever she’s creating. Whether she’s laminating croissants, shaping dough, or learning a new technique, she approaches it with care, intention, and excitement!

She’s one of those people everyone loves working beside. Her positive spirit, sense of humor, and willingness to help make even the busiest days better. More importantly, she believes that craftsmanship still matters and that belief shows in everything she does!

We feel incredibly fortunate that she chose to join us while Upper Kitchen was still taking shape. She hasn’t simply watched this bakery grow; she’s helped build it. The hands behind the bread are just as important as the bread itself, and we’re grateful her hands are part of this story.

If you haven’t experienced Bakehouse Breakfast yet, today is the perfect morning!

Today is the final morning of our first opening week, and we’d love to have you join us.

We’ve loved welcoming so many of you into the Bakehouse this week. Seeing people gather around fresh bread, wood-fired breakfasts, pastries, and coffee has made all the long days worth it.

Opening Week has been something special.

Pictured is our Wood-Fired Creamed Spinach & Mushroom Toast-creamy mushrooms and spinach served over thick-cut slices of our naturally leavened sourdough, baked fresh in the bakery.
